We have now ridden over 2000 miles and travelled through 5 states in 8 days. The scenery has been spectacular and continues to change and awe inspire us, along with the weather. Some days start off sunny and warm, then the next minute we are riding through damp fog and freezing our butts off. The pavement is smooth with plenty of excellent sweepers
Sprocket enjoys participating in the route planning as well as the navigation of our journey .
We have been to the Columbia River gorge & rode along the Historic Highway Route 30 & saw views of the gorge and the Multnomah Falls, along with most of the population of Hood River, Oregon !!!!!

At the end of a great long day of riding we all enjoy a drink with a view and a good meal together.
Well so far the weather has been spectacular, the company is great and this is the holiday of a lifetime. We are most definitely living the dream. Until next time, we look forward to hearing from you. Regards The Stiffs.
Hi Angela Paul Garry & Wendy
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic journey you are on. Did you climb Mt Hood? We went there but were not equipped for climbing so had to give it a miss. Was there anyone wind surfing on the Columbia River we saw one or two which looked great. What did you think of Oregon we thought it was a lovely state very similar to the UK. Will keep in touch have fun and stay safe.
